For the third time in just four years Bridgestone's State Dealer of the Year Award for Queensland has been won by Eric Milton and his team at the Slacks Creek Bridgestone Select.
The awards were presented to the winners at this year's 2008 National Franchise Conference at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley.
"We won the state award in 2004, 2005 and now again in 2007 so we're definitely aiming for the national award this year," Eric said.
"This award isn't just won by one person, I have a great team and we are all constantly aware of the very high standards that the Master Class program demands."
The awards recognise excellence in customer service under Bridgestone's Master Class program.
"People can often lose sight of what's important in the day-to-day running of a workplace but the Master Class program keeps us all motivated and ensures that customer service is always a priority," Eric said.
According to David Goldsworthy, Bridgestone's Retail Channel Manager, the Master Class Program is about setting the highest standards for customer service for all Bridgestone outlets across Australia.
"The Master Class competition seems to get tougher every year so to win the State Dealer of the Year Award three times really is an outstanding accomplishment," David said.
"The Slacks Creek Bridgestone Select Store is setting a very high standard and Eric and his team are to be congratulated on a fantastic year."
Twelve months ago the Slacks Creek store was one of the first in Australia to open under Bridgestone's new retail format - Bridgestone Select, transforming its approach to customer service.

The National Dealer of the Year Award was taken out by Bridgestone Select Oaklands Park in South Australia. Other winners of State Awards were Bridgestone Tyre Centre Esperance (WA), Bridgestone Tyre Centre Hoppers Crossing (VIC/TAS) and Bridgestone Tyre Centre Nambucca Heads (NSW/ACT).
