BTC Esperance proves they're the best in the west

The legendary customer service expertise of Geoff and Robyn Sparrowhawk has been recognised with the couple and their team at Esperance Bridgestone Tyre Centre winning Bridgestone's coveted State Dealer of the Year Award for WA.
The awards, which recognise excellence in customer service under Bridgestone's Master Class program, were presented to the winners at this year's 2008 National Franchise Conference at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley.
"We weren't expecting to win the award because we were up against some really tough competition from around the state," Geoff said.
"It's a fantastic award to win and we really couldn't be happier - it's an excellent feeling."
Geoff and Robyn have managed their Esperance Bridgestone Tyre Centre for the last 16 years - also taking home the State Dealer of the Year award in 2005.
"The people in Esperance have been fantastic, it is a great community and they give us a lot of support," Geoff said.
"Robyn and I have built the store up from the beginning and we take a lot of pride in our business. We're also lucky to have great commitment from our team who take as much interest in its success as we do.
"The Master Class program really keeps us as all motivated and we see the award as a fantastic reward for our hard work."
According to David Goldsworthy, Bridgestone's Retail Channel Manager, the Master Class Program is about setting the highest standards for customer service for all Bridgestone outlets across Australia.
"Geoff and Robyn and their team are proof that great customer service gets great results and they're to be congratulated on a great win," Mr Goldsworthy said.
Other winners of state awards were Bridgestone Tyre Centre Hoppers Crossing (VIC/TAS), Bridgestone Tyre Centre Nambucca Heads (NSW/ACT) and Bridgestone Select Store Slacks Creek (QLD). The National Dealer of the Year Award was won by Bridgestone Select Oaklands Park in South Australia.
