Bridgestone Australia proudly support the Leukaemia Foundation and are officially our one main charity. Bridgestone have numerous events to raise money and awaremness for the foundation.

Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is proud to have a long standing association with the Leukaemia Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.

Amongst the many essential support services that they provide, the Leukaemia Foundation provides patients and their families with courtesy transport to and from treatment. During treatment, a patient's immune system is severely weakened, so catching public transport can be dangerous due to possible infections.

The Patient Transport Program commenced in December 1999 and since that time, a team of dedicated, trained volunteers have driven patients to and from their medical, outpatient and other specialist appointments.

Bridgestone has provided eight vehicles for the Patient Transport Program, and continues to support this worthwhile cause.
